Designed as a companion piece for a gallery exhibition of Charles and Ray Eames's Molded Plywood Lounge Chair, this trifold brochure was my attempt to give visitors something worth holding onto — a small piece of the Eameses' world. The envelope was designed to echo the exterior of the Eames House, so the brochure feels like it belongs to their world. Inside, the chair's iconic form guides the layout including photos, notes, and bits of their design philosophy. I chose Clarendon, SuperClarendon, and Franklin Gothic to match the era and the industrial-modern feel of their work.
